The Bible says, "Let everything that hath breath, praise the Lord." Thus, Praise the Lord everyone!

If I have conducted a service, traveled to preach a revival or even offered my testimony during any service over the past twenty years, I have started with that statement. So, it seems appropriate to say yet again, "Praise the Lord everyone!"

With all the good things that God has done in our lives, it's really not hard to praise Him. Is my life perfect? It certainly is not! However, I am greatly blessed. Even better, we are both blessed. The fact that we are communicating today suggests that we are both blessed in a number of ways. Really!

I have been thinking about the word "really". Often "really" is a question posed when belief is difficult. "Really" is often asked as a way of satisfying our curiosity as to whether something is true or not true.

---Do you "really" believe that Jesus Christ died to save all those who will trust Him?

---Do you "really" believe that God cleanses the soul in water baptism?

---Do you "really" believe that God can dwell inside a person in the form of the Holy Ghost?

---Do you "really" believe that the Bible is true?

--------------------     THE ANSWER IS ABSOLUTELY!!   -------------------

Lately, I have noticed the word "really" used to express sarcasm-almost a mockery in what someone has said,

done, or believes. The youth in our culture have become particularly skilled in this use. Take the previous four questions

and change your tone when you come to the word "really". You may find that the question is different.

--Do you "really" believe that Jesus Christ died to save all those who trust Him?

--Do you "really" believe that God cleanses the soul in water baptism?

--Do you "really" believe that God can dwell inside a person in the form of the Holy Ghost?

--Do you "really" believe that the Bible is true?

--Really?!    The answer remains the same--ABSOLUTELY!

I hope that those who would use the word in curiosity will find answers and those who would use it in sarcasm and

disbelief will find a way to believe. It is then that we can all use the word as a statement of fact.

--I "really" believe that Jesus Christ died to save all those who will trust Him.

--I "really" believe that God cleanses the soul in water baptism.

--I "really" believe that God can dwell inside a person in the form of the Holy Ghost.

--I "really" believe that the Bible is true.

  Really.

Hope to share with you again soon.
